The professionals at Alerding Not-For-Profit devote either full time or the majority of their time to serving the special and changing needs of the not-for-profit sector.  As specialists in their discipline, our not-for-profit specialists receive intense continuing education on accounting, financial reporting, tax, organizational, operating and regulatory issues affecting not-for-profit entities.  We believe that in order to provide the highest quality of services to the not-for-profit sector, our professionals must stay current through formal education and work-life experience in the not-for-profit world in order to serve our clients effectively and efficiently.


Part of the education our not-for-profit specialists receive is real-world training through hands-on experience as volunteers for not-for-profit entities, including holding leadership positions in not-for-profit entities as members of the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Finance Committee or other areas where we can be of service.  This experience in the mission, activities and inner-workings of not-for-profit entities provides our specialists with an important “view from the other side” that we find to be paramount in truly understanding the needs of not-for-profit entities.
