The new IRS Form 990 is a very comprehensive form that is more akin to an annual report than the old 990, which was more of a traditional tax form. The new Form 990 requires the governing body and Management to disclose information about its mission, activities, governance, structure, financial reporting, compensation and other organizational elements of the entity. Alerding Not-For-Profit will provide education, guidance and expertise to your organization so that the form can be completed efficiently and in a manner that best reflects the realities of your mission, purpose and activities. Once the information necessary to complete the form is gathered using our Form 990 Checklist, we will prepare the form for review and approval by Management and the governing body.
